We are so excited to share with you that demolition has begun in our future home at 1320 South Monroe Street. The support and encouragement we’ve received from our community about the news of our expansion has been incredible. It’ll be here before we know it. The team has entered the excitement phase as all the final details are getting plugged in! From hand sinks to draft lines to lighting—every detail is getting hammered out. For now, we're continuing with business as usual at our current location at 644 McDonnell Drive. In fact, we just celebrated our Anniversary during American Craft Beer Week. Our bottle release of Bourbon Barrel Aged Glass Emperor and its varietals was a success! When we move to 1320 South Monroe, we'll announce it on all social media outlets. We’re expecting to be open no later than January of 2019.
You may have driven by the building and started to see trucks making deliveries outside. We've already begun receiving new equipment. Two brand new, shiny sixty-barrel fermenters have arrived in preparation for our expansion. Sixty barrels fermenters are the largest size we currently have in-house. We’ll be getting more tanks in the future, and they'll be even bigger! Arin, our Head Brewer, has worked many long days sourcing all the necessary equipment for the brewery. As crazy as it sounds, although the brewery is moving into a location over three times the size, every square inch is getting positioned with something. It's a meticulous process, but we know Arin can get the job done! The new space will allow us to take on several fun new projects— from seasonal and year-round cans to more barrel aged beers. We have even more exciting projects that we can't announce just yet. 😉 Be sure to keep checking back for more news and construction updates.
